My name is Emma L. Cross, I am a native Houstonian. I was born and raised here. I graduated from Jefferson Davis High School. I got an associate degree from Houston Baptist University. I have worked with two of the largest oil companies in America, chevron U.S.A and Exxon Mobil in Houston, Texas.

However, the best decision I ever made, was when I became a born-again believer in Jesus Christ, over 50 years ago, and I have never regretted doing so.

I met my husband in the year of January of 1973 and we got married in June of that year. We had two children and lost two in miscarriage. I was also blessed to raise my niece’s daughter who I claim as a daughter of mine as well. I am also a grandmother of ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

My husband and I held services at several nursing homes in Houston, Texas until he became ill. I was blessed to be married to this wonderful Christian man for 48 blessed years until October 10th, 2021 when the lord called him home.

Since then, I have asked the lord how can I serve you now that you have called my husband, my best friend home. I heard a voice within say, “Child, I have given you one talent, do not waste it.” then I remembered how the poetry that the lord gave me through the years, helped me to face the most difficult times in my life. Then I thought if those words could help me; then they could also help others as well.

Then by the grace and mercy of God, I went to online and found a company called Panda Publishing Agency and God opened the door for the finances and all my books were published here.

This was a dream of mine that finally did come true. Now, for me to be successful in this life, I ask for only 4 things:

1.) That if you are reading my books and you do not know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will find Him here.

2.) That if you do know Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, you will be drawn closer to Him here.

3.) That you will be more eager to be watching, waiting, and looking for our Lord’s return to claim His bride, His church.

4.) And that you will follow me as I follow Christ.
